Suruchi Too in a window

On Constitution Street, across the street and a little bit down the road from the Suruchi Too, there is an odd building with mirrored windows and a metal framework hanging in front of the building.

The Suruchi Too is one of those oddities: it’s a spinoff restaurant from the more famous Surichi on Nicholson Street, and at lunchtimes it’s usually virtually empty and in the evenings it’s never busy. But, it stays open, year after year. (Perhaps they use it to train their waitstaff. The service in the Suruchi Too is never as good as the food.)

I took this photo here. It’s available on Redbubble: Suruchi Too in a window.
