Water of Leith Conservation Trust:
Sunday 14th December. Clean-up. Balerno. 10am – 12.30pm. Meet at Currie Rugby Club car park in Balerno. Take the 1st left after Balerno High School off Bridge road onto Bavelaw Road. Take the next left off Bavelaw Road. As before, we provide all the equipment just wear sensible warm outdoor clothes that you don’t mind getting mucky, walking boots / wellies and bring waterproofs just in case.
I would love to do this but have no means of getting out to Balerno and back except by public transport.

I saw Fishers and their hopeful street planter reflected in a puddle on Tower Street: and behind it all the guddle of the street being dug up. For some reason.

Many of the houses just east of Victoria Park in Edinburgh have these fancy cast-iron fences edging the roof.

The reflection of a flip-top bin (domestic waste) in a puddle caused by a blocked drain in Dock Place well over a year ago. The dirt-clotted cobbles and remnants of a double-yellow line can just be seen.
