Looking At Edinburgh

Tree in water

Along by Dock Place, just before you veer left into the pedestrianised walkway facing the Scottish Government, there’s a dead-end cobbled street, planted with young trees that will someday provide shade, and a stretch of gutter that gets blocked and floods the cobbled street after any heavy rain. A good place for reflections.

I took this photo here. It’s available on Redbubble: Tree in water and in a 2009 calendar: Strange Sky.

  1. I really love this unusual shot. Translucent and short-lived beauty from an apparently mundane backdrop.

Congratulations on a nice site. I look in regularly for a peek at the great pictures of my old home town.
