Sandport Bridge: A flurry of wings

Seagulls and pigeons, competing over some scraps, rise suddenly into the air as the photographer approaches. This picture was taken in January on the path beside the Water of Leith as it approaches Sandport Bridge: the houses by the Shore are seen beyond the rising birds.
