The reflection of a flip-top bin (domestic waste) in a puddle caused by a blocked drain in Dock Place well over a year ago. The dirt-clotted cobbles and remnants of a double-yellow line can just be seen.

Along by Dock Place, just before you veer left into the pedestrianised walkway facing the Scottish Government, there’s a dead-end cobbled street, planted with young trees that will someday provide shade, and a stretch of gutter that gets blocked and floods the cobbled street after any heavy rain. A good place for reflections.
